Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers and development teams to define test strategies, scope, and objectives for upcoming projects.

• Create and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements and specifications.

• Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing, to identify defects and ensure product reliability.

• Document and track defects, issues, and enhancement requests, and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.

• Conduct regression tests to validate software quality throughout the development lifecycle.

• Generate detailed test reports and provide feedback to stakeholders, including recommendations for product improvements.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a comprehensive understanding of project requirements and promote a culture of quality throughout the organization.

• Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and QA trends to enhance our testing processes.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).

• Proven track record in creating and maintaining test documentation (test plans, cases, scripts).

• Proficiency in QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.

• Experience with test automation tools like Selenium or similar frameworks.

• Strong knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) with optional PHP expertise.

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and tools like Postman or REST Assured.

• Competency in SQL and database testing.

• Proficient in version control systems (e.g., Git).

• Understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

• Ability to create, execute, and maintain test cases for both manual and automated testing.

• Proficiency in functional, regression, and performance testing.

• Experience in cross-browser and cross-platform testing.

• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and adaptability for fast-paced environments.

• Experience in using defect tracking tools and test management tools such as JIRA.

• Familiarity with API testing/API concepts and integration.

• Must have a strong background in software QA best practices, testing and validation concepts.
